The tents at this glamping site were surprisingly comfortable and well-equipped, with internal bathrooms and electricity. It felt like a luxurious experience, especially if you're used to typical camping holidays. The camp's location beside a lake was a major highlight, attracting birds in the morning and offering a picturesque view. Plus, the fact that dinner and breakfast were included meant that we didn't have to worry about cooking or doing dishes, which was a nice convenience.
. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were not the best, which was a bit disappointing.

We had an incredible time at Big Game Camp! The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. Our tent was well appointed and had all the comforts we needed, including a hot shower and comfy beds. The BBQ dinners under the stars were a highlight and the atmosphere was unforgettable. The safaris were amazing, with our knowledgeable driver Piuma ensuring we had a great experience. we highly recommend this camp as a base for a safari adventure.

The location of this camp is stunning, nestled in the jungle near a river. The tent accommodations are comfortable, with cozy beds and a shower. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Dmitry Arun, who was knowledgeable about wildlife. The camp offers various activities, such as a sunrise walk and a safari, where you can see elephants, crocodiles, monkeys. The campfire and oil lamps create a lovely atmosphere in the evening, and the BBQ dinner is delicious.
Drinks with dinner can be quite expensive.

The tented accommodations at this campground were beyond my expectations. The modern comforts and attention to detail made me feel like I was staying in a luxury hotel rather than a tent. The cozy bedding and spacious work area were a delightful surprise.
Limited meal information.

The tent accommodations were comfortable with cozy beds and a convenient shower. The staff was helpful and attentive, always available to assist with any needs. The safari organized by the hotel was a memorable experience, with sightings of elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, buffalo, and a variety of birds. The camp naturalist added a special touch with his extensive knowledge and passion for the wildlife.
There were instances where a group of noisy guests disrupted the peaceful ambiance during dinner under the stars, but this was not the hotel's fault. there were some inconveniences such as a wait for pickup and check-in, cramped tents with insects, and limited hot water.

What a hidden gem! The camp is nestled in a peaceful forest setting, giving it a truly unique and tranquil atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The three-course lunch and dinner were absolutely delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food. the camp offers a memorable safari experience, with an abundance of wildlife to see, including a large number of elephants.
One downside of the camp is its distance from the game park, which resulted in a shorter safari time of about 3 hours. It would have been even better if the camp was closer to the park, allowing for a longer and more immersive safari experience.

I had an amazing one night stay at Big Game Camp and it was such a unique experience. The tentage was luxurious with a comfy bed and private bathroom, complete with mosquito net, repellent, and torches. The staff, led by Russel, were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The 3/4 course dinner under the stars by the campfire was a memorable experience. The morning safari was eye-opening and worth every penny. I highly recommend Big Game Camp for an affordable glamping session near the national park.

Safari departure disappointed, long drive required.

The guestrooms at Big Game - Udawalawe by Eco Team are so cozy and comfortable. The premium bedding feels like sleeping on a cloud, and the laptop-friendly workspace is a great plus for us as digital nomads. We also appreciate the free bottled water, a nice touch for staying hydrated.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the hot and cold shower option in the attached, partitioned bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference, others might find it invigorating.

Mind-blowing location! The spacious campsite had around 20 big tents equipped with everything you need - even a standing shower! The service was exceptional, staff were super friendly, and the food was delicious. The outdoor dining area was jaw-dropping, especially when lit up at night. Free wi-fi, on-site parking, and a 24-hour reception were a plus. The children's play area and menu kept the little ones entertained. Plus, no pets or smoking allowed!
